Meet Your Teacher

Throughout her career, Savannah has found immense joy in teaching individuals of all ages and abilities, from toddlers to adults. She is particularly proud of helping exceptional learners gain confidence in the water, which led her to discover her passion for special education. Beyond swimming, Savannah loves mentoring young adults by offering them fun and meaningful summer job opportunities at Swim Savvy. Her mission is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where every participant can thrive, both in and out of the water.

I will never forget the first day of swim lessons my eldest daughter, who has Autism, had with “Miss Savannah”. My daughter was absolutely terrified and screamed the ENTIRE time. I thought for sure Savannah was going to tell us politely that “it just wasn’t going to work out”... but that was not the case. Savannah pushed through with an unbelievable amount of patience and love and within a very short amount of time, my daughter was swimming! We were so lucky to have found such a kind and compassionate teacher who not only met my daughter where she was but considered my daughter’s special learning difficulties as puzzle to solve rather than a hindrance.
